Our “paint” is a white Energy Star-rated elastomeric cool roof coating, which we apply in two coats.

The typical residence (as large as a 4-family building) takes but one day to complete the cool roof coating process, allowing the building occupants to enjoy the benefits of a white roof and a cooler building immediately.

Larger buildings may take several days.

Safety / VOC Content

We insist on using cool roof coatings with very low VOC (volatile organic compound) content. Some reflective roof coatings, including aluminum fiber coatings, have very high VOC content, and we refuse to use them because they contain several toxins identified and tracked by the EPA. Using an elastomeric coating instead of aluminum fiber keeps factories from making large amounts of dangerous chemicals, and saves your neighborhood from breathing toxic fumes.
